Everything is Black and White

bwThe weather is for sure getting grey and so, I am loving that the fall/winter collections are not all dark colours. Whilst White is still a neutral colour I some how feel it has that bit of something that adds an usual break from the normal dark fall wardrobes. I have put together some of our favourite white and black items in my wardrobe both old and new. Every season I like to add additions to my wardrobe and I am not a trend type person when I m shopping. I look at the fabrics, quality and for items I believe will be with me for a while so I can mix and match everything. I also like to mix up my brands and try to add my slightly more expensive pieces with my bargain finds.

From Left to Right: White, lace Jumper: Sandro, Black Lace skirt: Forever 21, Leggings: Trunk V, White Sequin Top: Topshop, Black faux leather skirt: ASOS, Faux Fur Jacket HM Paris Collection.

Boots: Ankle Boots: ACNE, Over the Knee: HM Paris Collection

Can’t wait to show you how I style all of these items in the coming months.

What kind of things have you been buying for the coming season? I ll show you mine if you show me yours 😉

Ciao for now xx

Via Rodeo

DSC_0584DSC_0365DSC_0611DSC_0595DSC_0580DSC_0593

Here is my last style post from California on Via Rodeo. When I have been to LA before I have never made it here and I always think about Cher and Dion from Clueless and of course, Pretty Woman when Vivian and Edward spend an Obscene amount of money on Rodeo Drive. Well, enough movie talk, lets talk clothes. I bought these silk tie-dye trousers from Maje in De Bijenkorf in Amsterdam recently and abolutley love the light feeling of the silk but, also the way they hang and the denim look. In higher tempretures its often uncomfotable to wear jeans, so I loved these silk trousers for looking like denim.

Teamed with my favourite new white sandals this was a good outfit for a trip down Rodeo Drive …. a visit to my favourite …. Tiffany & Co.

What I Wore: Top: American Eagle Outfitters, Trousers: Maje, Shoes: Zara, Bag: Marc By Marc Jacobs

Whats your favourite purchase this summer?

Ciao for now?

Sunny day in London

DSC_0601DSC_0605DSC_0610DSC_0621DSC_0625DSC_0635DSC_0653

Hey Guys, As I hit the publish button I am running late to Heathrow and having to leave London again for a few days stop over in Amsterdam. I couldn’t have asked for better weather for my return from my California trip to London. Since the weather was good I made sure that my weekend was going to be packed. Here is a post to show you what I wore for my day out on Saturday to Dover Street Market which you can read about here. After being in doors at LDSM, I headed to Hyde Park and the Serpentine gallery for some much needed Pimms’O’Clock action and a delicious pizza sitting by the lake and basking in the evening sun. I loved the park but, I must say Hayfever has been killing me along with the jet lag, but I suffered through in the park to get as much green open space before I head back to the desert.

I wore my new Topshop backpack out this weekend, what do you think? I am not a big backpack fan but I loved the colour of this one and needed something bigger than my usual clutches for my notebook and camera (blogging essentials). I also have finally got the chance to wear my new favourite Sandro leopard print top that I bought on a recent shopping spree at De Bijenkorf over my birthday weekend in Amsterdam. I loved that the leopard print is in perfect pastel colours for summer.

What I wore: Top: Sandro, Necklace: Topshop, Jeans: American Apparel, Bag: Topshop, Shoes, Zara, Sunglasses: Rayban’s

Couldn’t have had a better Saturday.

Do you like to spend your sunny days in the park?

Ciao for now xx

Dover Street Market

Hey All, I wanted to share a post on one of my favourite places in London; Dover Street Market. It is the place to go to look at the latest collections in a interior design heaven in the centre of London. Designed by  creative mastermind Rei Kawakubo of Comme Des Garcon, so expect nothing less than minimalism that meets extravagant design. Kawakubo wanted to create a market where designers from various fields could be showcased. This ethos is what I love most about Dover Street Market; beautiful jewellery mixed with best of international designer wear and minimalist furniture and quaint interior items.

Make sure you take at least as long as you can to really enjoy browsing LDSM with four floors of beautiful creations there is no need to rush here, and if you get hungry or thirsty get refreshed in the cafe on the 4th floor. Each floor has its own unique design which makes it feel like you have gone into a totally different store. Of course, throughout DSM expect to find lots of designs from Comme Des Garcon, I loved all the shirts but, I am currently trying not to buy any more shirts as the shirt department of my wardrobe is busting.

On 3rd floor I loved the new Saint Laurent  concession, the showcase for the collection was a mirrored display unit which made every item look 3D and of course beautiful. Lanvin Men made me want to be one of those girls who looks good in Menswear . My other big love on 3F was Givenchy for men and Women and I wanted to buy everything from Christopher Kane and Peter Pilotto.

My other favourite part of the store was the Azzedine Alaia section of the store, as I think I have mentioned on the blog before I am not a big shoe shopper (they never fit my feet) however, the shoes by Alaia made my mouth water! The chairs (picture above) were so inviting to sit down and spend an hour just watching all the stylish customers go by and drool over the Azzedine Alaia beautiful clothes.

All in all, this is a must-see place in London not only to shop for beautiful designs but also to be inspired by your fellow shoppers and the design of the store.

Have you been to Dover Street Market? What did you love about it?

Ciao for now xx

Hello Guys and Gals, here I thought I would show you my look for when I went to the stunning Park Hyatt for the perfect late afternoon lunch and some cocktails. I wanted to wear something bright and colourful but, of course my Amsterdam self crept back in and made sure I wasn’t too bright making me tone down all my colour with favourite grey jeans.

IMG_3045IMG_0057The afternoon ended up with a beautiful sunset with the Dubai Skyline in the background!

Do you like to Mix your colours and are you brave enough to make your outfit pop!?

T-Shirt: Topshop, Jeans: Amsterdam’s blauw, Shoes: Aldo, Bag: Celine

Lace TimesUp high! What I love about being in Dubai is that I get to wear my high heels and being short this is always good! I just bought these Zara heels and thought I would take them for a spin for a quick dinner.

My other fashion love which your bound to come accustomed to is my obsession with lace. I team it with everything and have lace tops, dresses and skirts in so many different colours, I got this top for Christmas from Topshop and it reminded me of this look from Dolce & Gabbana. I hope you like it…… Ciao for Now!
